I'm so pleased with how this turned out!! So pleased, I'd like to show you the very easy process, so you can make one yourself. I framed a
precious purse of mine, but you could do the same with baby clothes or something else small and delicate. I bought a cheap frame from
The Warehouse, the plainer, the better, as the purse is quite detailed and I didn't want to detract from it. It needs to be a box frame or one that has a central frame you can remove, you need the depth to fit your item. I then got a piece of scrap booking paper from
Spotlight, again, something subtle, so as not to become more of a focus than the purse. I had been thinking something with black in it, but it really looked wrong, it needed to be lighter than the purse. Glue paper to frame back. Secure glass to front of frame, you could glue, or tape in place. Position purse where you want it and mark two small dots in top corners. Use a small nail and hammer to make a hole through. Do a second hole beside each of these, where it won't be visible. Stitch through the two holes on one side, attaching purse. Do the same on the other. You're just wanting to secure much the same as you would find a new toy in box. Reassemble frame and there you have it!
