I have a bit of furniture envy at the moment, so when I spied the fabric below, it was these particular images (above) that sent my heart racing . A pair of vintage sanderson curtains at my local salvo's! I couldn't believe my luck. Now seeing as we have limited no room for such a piece of furniture, I decided I would keep one, for my 'one day' small piece of furniture, and the other I would use for sewing projects. I'm really trying to use and enjoy fabrics, rather than hoard them (not that I'm a hoarder Mr Molly Coddle!).
So here is the first item (you may have already seen it) made from these beauties.
I also recently found this adorable 50's duvet covet for Poppets bed. The photo doesn't really do it justice, it's gorgeous and still really vibrant. Another great Salvo's find.
Never one to pass on old tablecloths and doilies, I've been amassing quite a few. I especially love the red roses on the one below. The panel of children's printed cotton is also pretty cute. If you're wondering what the pink stripey thing is, (not from the salvo's) it's Poppet's 'sucky'. She said I didn't have a photo of 'sucky' yet and could she please go in the photo... how could I refuse such a cute request, plus I'd just washed it, I would not be photographing it today!
Last, but certainly not least, a huge thank you to all who follow MissMollyCoddle on facebook, your support is very much appreciated. On that note, we have a winner...
Enjoy your Sunday evening people and keep an eye out for my new winter range, I'll be sharing shortly xx
Love the fabrics!
