I've had this cute wee duck fabric for a while, in fact I blogged about it last year, well before baby no. 2 was on his way. With ten weeks to go, I felt it really was time to pay this baby some well deserved attention and make it something special. At this stage in my first pregnancy we'd done a whole room, I'd made numerous accessories, spent hours researching baby purchases and made a photo diary of my expanding belly. I'm ashamed to say, we haven't taken one photo this pregnancy! We haven't done a babies room, we don't have one to do. In fact, the one researched purchase reflects this, it's a vintage bassinet on wheels, as our wee man is destined for a nomadic lifestyle around our
Anyway, I'm rapt with how the quilt looks. It is lovely to have made something special for our wee boy, who despite our distraction will be a very welcome addition to our family, and this time we know the elation and overwhelming love that comes with their arrival, that is what I can't wait for(and that requires no preparation)!

ReplyDeletelove the cuddly duckiness. rest assured, i am one of eight and my parents forgot my sisters 4th birthday, left her at kinder twice and lost my brother every time we went to the beach. true story!
