Hello there! I'm totally in love with this weeks flea market find. I can't even begin to contemplate making a FULLY LINED, DOUBLE BREASTED DOLLS COAT. Somebody was obviously very patient and a very skilled sewer. I got it from my favourite local vintage shop. It fits Poppet's doll that Jenny made, although the arms are a tad long. But until she can dress her dolls, it'll have pride of place at the top of her cot. I love the idea of favourite baby/doll clothes or antique purses as art, would look great in a white box frame, though a bit of a tease if she wants to play with it.
She's one stylish vintage Madam...
Here is a pair of my shoes, all ready for their new owner, wrapped in a sewing pattern from Megan, and tied with leftover ribbon from my wedding. See here for more recycled giftwrap ideas.
I still have more recent op shop treasures to show you too. I'll be taking a break for a couple of weeks though, but will be back here with more photos, (fingers crossed) more vintage scores, and hopefully more motivation to get creative too!

See you soon,
Sarah
