Phew... finally finished, and with only a few weeks to go before my niece is due to arrive .  I'm actually a wee bit embarrassed by it's wonkyness, and how long it's taken to finish.  I first posted about wanting to make it here, and then there was some progress here, now over a year later it's done.  Lets just say, I won't be in a hurry to do a double one.  I promise I'll take more care with my precious wee niece, than I have with my tension, the squares have gotten progressively larger. But, it's made with lots of love for the dear wee Poppet, and the colours look GORGEOUS!

To see more crochet and other creative endeavours, pop over here.  My favourites this week were this and this.

ps. just a few more days only to enter my giveaway, good luck.

  1. all crochet blankets have wonkyness. i have never blocked any of mine but once they have been washed they seem to relax a bit.
i love the colour combo very cath kidson, just lovely!

  2. Beautiful colours! and a little bit of wonky is what gives that handmade charm ; )

  3. Well done, it looks great. It's so hard to actually get something finished sometimes! You should try blocking it - pin it to the carpet somewhere all nice and straight through every row and it will come right : )
