Phew... finally finished, and with only a few weeks to go before my niece is due to arrive . I'm actually a wee bit embarrassed by it's wonkyness, and how long it's taken to finish. I first posted about wanting to make it here, and then there was some progress here, now over a year later it's done. Lets just say, I won't be in a hurry to do a double one. I promise I'll take more care with my precious wee niece, than I have with my tension, the squares have gotten progressively larger. But, it's made with lots of love for the dear wee Poppet, and the colours look GORGEOUS!

Beautiful colours! and a little bit of wonky is what gives that handmade charm ; )
ReplyDeletewonderful colors!
ReplyDeleteWell done, it looks great. It's so hard to actually get something finished sometimes! You should try blocking it - pin it to the carpet somewhere all nice and straight through every row and it will come right : )
